I have been on Topamax, 50 mg for a week, and I have already lost 5 lbs. I have struggled with my weight since adolescence, and am thrilled to say that Topamax has really given me no other problems except a few weird tingling sensations in my feet, but I can deal. When I was dx with Migraines I was taking a sub-lingual pill called Maxalt (this does work) you have to take one tablet and place it under your tongue as you feel a migraine coming on. I have been on Topamax for almost 2 months now and in the beginning, I had the tingling bad in my feet and hands. I have digenerative disc disease and my neirologist just prescribed topamax. I noticed in the last month that the tension headaches are just as bad as my Migraines.
